About A Buyers Choice
A Buyers Choice was founded in 2000 by Michael Johnson, who started working on cars in 1984 - back before fuel injection. Over the decades he has worked in new-car dealerships, tire companies and government, in every position from mechanic and technician to management, and has started several businesses. A Buyers Choice has operated every year since 2000, including through the hard times.
Over more than 20 years we've developed a system to make sure we deliver quality vehicles. In general, our process is:
- Shop nationwide for high-quality vehicles that make economic sense
- Transport them to our Southern California location
- Inspect
- Detail clean, wash and wax
- Pass the California smog test
- Housekeeping for RVs
- Mechanical inspection and repair
- RV house repairs and deferred maintenance
- LED lighting upgrades, case by case
- RV upholstery repair as needed
- Interior and exterior touch-up and minor paint repairs
- Paintless dent repair by expert outside contractors
- Replace tires as needed
- Full photography and a video tour on YouTube
- Offer the vehicle for sale online
Sign the paperwork in our office, or we ship your vehicle to you in another state or country.
We are a State of California DMV Business Partner Automation (BPA) partner, with DMV services on site - we can issue license plates on the spot.
Our indoor warehouse showroom is open 7 days by appointment. Please call at least 1 hour before your visit to confirm. Phone hours 9 am - 7 pm Pacific.
